Personal introduction

My name is Miguel Castillo Muñoz and I am Spanish, more precisely from Andalusia. My roots are in Granada or Almeria. I was born and raised in Germany and therefore bilingual. After successfully completing my studies in Marburg and Münster and legal clerkship in Münster, I initially worked in a German-Spanish law firm in Düsseldorf / Palma de Mallorca. Since 2008 own law firm, June / July 2009 successful completion of the Abogado course (Spanish law) at the University CEU San Pablo in Madrid. The focus of my work as a Spanish lawyer is German-Spanish law in the field of German-Spanish legal transactions. The duties of a German-Spanish lawyer include looking after Spanish and German clients. I am the founder and partner of the law firm Castillo I González & Kollegen, which consists of German and Spanish lawyers. They are admitted to all courts in both Spain and Germany and can therefore represent the legal interests of their clients in both countries. The law firm provides legal advice in particular in the areas of private international law, family and inheritance law, transport and freight forwarding law, travel and tourism law as well as commercial and commercial law. We are members of several international associations. Real estate law deserves special attention, especially when it comes to the processing and purchase of Spanish real estate, as well as tax treatment. In German-Spanish inheritance law matters, we accompany our clients comprehensively and bilingually, from initial advice and estate administration to tax advice. In the area of ??commercial and commercial law, we advise our clients in the area of ??founding and relocating companies in Spain, in the acquisition or sale of Spanish companies, as well as in tax law. Here we work closely with Spanish tax advisors.

In the area of transport and forwarding law, whether land, air, sea transport or combined transport, as well as questions regarding warehousing and management, nationally and cross-border, we are at your disposal as a contact. We also support you in the enforcement or defense against claims due to transport damage, e.g. due to damage, loss or partial loss, as well as in other questions related to logistics law, such as customs or foreign tax law.

In the area of travel and tourism law, we support you in asserting claims against tour operators due to travel deficiencies, both nationally and internationally.
